Illuminated Lion

Illuminated Lion

A lion that can be illuminated by RGB LED is a remarkable sight. The lipo battery and charge controller are integrated into the base for convenience. Of course, the Led can also be supplied directly with the USB voltage of 5V, but then a resistance of 68 Ohm would have to be used instead of 22 Ohm. The figure is printed without infill for a smooth finish. My slicer settings for the figure are as follows: Layer height: 0.1, Wall thickness: 1.2 (3 x 0.4 wall lines), Top/Bottom Thickness: 0.8, Filling: 0%, and Combing mode is turned off. The white filament should be translucent to achieve a desired effect. Suitable options include Geeetec or janbex. Printing without filling is only possible without a hole at the bottom, so the hole must be drilled after printing. Additional parts required include a switch, an RGB-LED slow, a lipo charging module, a lipo, a MICRO USB adapter, and a 22 Ohm resistor. The base-bottom should be printed in white to make the LEDs of the charge controller visible when charging.
