Illuminated indoor FPV gate
thingiverse
Cooked up a small drone racing gate for indoor practice with FPV micro whoops. The gate is made up of many bits, partly because of printer bed size limitation and partly just because I thought it might look nice (I think it does) The lighting is the cheapest kind of battery operated LED string. The inside dimensions are 35cm by 35cm (Mobula6 hanging in the picture for size), which is probably very optimistic for a beginner like me. :)Glue the bottom parts (straights and corners with an overlapping connector inside), place the optional LED string along the bottom, and glue the lids all along the frame. Print two foot halves per foot, press onto frame and secure with a 30-35mm bolt. Put some velcro on foot and battery.I printed this in PLA, 10% fill and 2 layers for top and bottom. If you want to build this be advised it is a lot of printing and a lot of gluing. There are for sure easier ways of making FPV gates.
