Illuminated Christmas Star - Mini Version

<h3>Description</h3><p>The Herrnhuter Stern (Moravian Star) is a famous german advent decoration symbolising the Star of Bethlehem. It is typically made of paper and its shape is based on a rhombicuboctahedron.</p><p>The star comes with a gift box, which neatly stores all the parts. This model uses a smaler variant of the <a href="https://www.makeanything.design/polypanels">polypanels</a> joints from <a href="https://www.makeanything.design/">makeanything</a>. The star can easily be assembled and dissasembled without fasteners or glue. You can also check out my <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/14519-illuminated-christmas-star">bigger version</a>, whitch fits on the MK3.</p><h3>Printing instructions</h3><p>I printed the parts with natural PLA form Das Filament. Make sure, you have a good quality PLA filament with good layer addhesion. Otherwise the parts may be to brittle. Also don't use PETG as it is to soft to make a good clip connection. You may want to choose "random" for the seam position to get an ice-like effect.</p><p>I included some test pieces to check the fit and strength of the polypanels joints. Print a couple of these before comitting to the full print. The joints should click together easily but provide some strength if you are pulling on it.
