Illinois Duck Silhouette

<p>This is an Illinois outline with a duck spanning it in the middle. This was made for a coworker that wanted something 3D printed. I hacked this together and decided to share.</p> <p>I love my state, Illinois, and it breaks my heart to see that the only bi-partisan thing being done is continuing to hurt the state and the residents. One was an Illinois outline and another was a duck silhouette. The duck was larger so I used GIMP to open the Illinois then the duck and then scaled the duck to size. I then exported that in high-res to .PNG format. I then used InkScape to convret the .PNG to .SVG</p> <p>I know I should have used InkScape all along but I didn't know how and need to crank this out fairly quickly.</p> <p>I then uploaded the .SVG to a site that converted it to .STL (I know there are other tools to do this but I was in a hurry and convenience.). I then sliced it with Slic3r and exported the .GCODE to an SD card. The rest is history.</p> </p></p> Category: 2D Art
