The island of Pico is an Atlantic island located in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores, second largest in the archipelago after the island of São Miguel. It is elongated by a volcano that gives it its name, the Pico Volcano, which with 2351 meters is the highest peak in the Republic of Portugal. The image was generated using QGIS and Qgis2threejs. The work is derived from ALOS Global Digital Surface Model (AW3D30) and Landsat imagery from the World Imagery service on ArcGIS online.
