Ikovwuk Laser Level Angle Bracket
thingiverse
The wall mounting bracket included with my laser level was very out of square, see my cardboard shimming in the second photo, and the angle measured in the fourth photo. The angle is so far out that the level didn't work anymore. I designed a new bracket, using parts harvested from the original bracket. The new one worked much better. I've also added a couple screw holes so the bracket can be directly screwed to the wall in case that's what you want. The magnet is glued to a large holding washer washer so be careful to cut the old bracket so you don't break the glue holding the washer to the magnet. I broke both of them so I epoxied them together before installing in the new plastic bracket. The thumb screw is held to the shaft with red thread lock compound but it was pretty easy to remove. Reinstalling would benefit from a fresh drop of thread lock compound but if you can tighten it enough it is probably fine. I have no idea if any other brands use the same or compatible bracket, please let me know if this works for you for other brands. As usual I included an STL, my original CAD file, and a STEP file so other people can make their own derivative in whatever way they feel comfortable.
