IKEA Wooden Chair - MAMMUT

IKEA Wooden Chair - MAMMUT

thingiverse

Hey there! I discovered a fantastic Wooden Chair on Thingiverse. The original creator, Tommy Kong, made a significant mistake with this model: the top portion wasn't manifold at all and it was impossible to print (check for yourself if you don't believe me :3). So I decided to fix it myself and share it with everyone! This is not a particularly challenging print, I uploaded two versions of the same object, one with the full chair to print with supports and another with two individual parts to assemble post-print. The model isn't 100% accurate to an actual MAMMUT chair by IKEA but in this way you will have a less stressful time printing this :). Have a nice print! Print Settings Printer: 3DBNZ ATLAS Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.6mm Nozzle; 0.3mm Layer Height Infill: 30% Notes: Material: FormFutura EasyWood I highly recommend printing this using the two parts version with the top part rotated by -90° on the X axis. The full version is not recommended but in some cases, printing this variant could make sense; in fact, the legs printed individually tend to detach from the top part if you play with it once printed. So, if you want a solid toy, print the full version!
