The original IKEA cornice mount needed reinforcement to provide added support, but unfortunately, the mount itself is sold only in conjunction with the profile. To address this issue, a modified clip has been designed that enables direct attachment of the rail profile to the wall bracket. To assemble the clamp, two components are joined together using a paper clip. Notably, the top hole in the clamp is not centered, resulting in two distinct points of force that contribute to increased stability.
