I'm excited to show off my 3D design skills by creating a replica of the broken top cap/cover for our IKEA umbrella. As this is my first attempt at 3D design, I'm thrilled that the initial test print in yellow transparent PLA turned out successfully. The part fits perfectly on the umbrella and is surprisingly stronger than the original IKEA component. Next up, I'll be printing the final version in matching silver/grey to complete the replacement.
