However, the case is surprisingly compact, allowing it to fit neatly into ceiling lights or other tight spaces. Using the Trådfri Outlet is a breeze - simply pair it just like a standard IKEA Trådfri outlet and you're good to go. It functions exactly as expected. Assembly: Carefully cut open the Trådfri Outlet from the bottom up, then remove the wires for the socket by clipping them away. Next, solder in new wires according to the diagram provided. Finally, secure everything together with three M3 screws.
