I designed a new enclosure for the Ikea Smart light switches. Use these steps to assemble it: 1. Remove the back cover from the Ikea switch by removing the screw from the back 2. Remove the front cover. You can use a flat screw driver to push the side wall of the cover slightly outwards. You should then be able to remove the cover. 3. Place the remaining on top of the bottom 3D printed part. Make sure the screw holes align. Use the original screw to screw the bottom part in place. Additionally make sure you attach the magnet to the battery as this is going to be used to mount the switch later on. 4. The top part can now be place on top. The brackets should fit nicely in the holes of the Ikea switch. If you hear a "click" you're done. 5. Glue a 5 cent pice (or some other metal that fits) in mount holes (see picture). The switch can nicely be mounted now. I used tape to attach the mount to the surface. It is printed with PLA. I also tried ABS, however this material is not flexibel enough for the brackets. I've added a few different designes for the top. I've also added a clean one such that you can design you own top cover. I'm looking forward to seeing your remixes.
