Ikea Table Leg Extension
thingiverse
This is an inexpensive Ikea table extension intended to extend an affordable Ikea table by 4 inches (100mm) with impressive results. The outcome after printing and utilizing four of these 3D prints to elevate an Ikea table height is a spacious area beneath the table that stands at an astonishing 1.5 inches taller than a Creality Ender 3 Pro without its filament holder attached. I successfully printed this innovative design at a rapid pace of 100 mm/s, with the initial layer commencing at a moderate speed of 20 mm/s and featuring a dense 20% cubic infill using an Ender 3 Pro. This cutting-edge design was heavily influenced by Koganei's "Ikea LACK Table Extension Stacker," but I deliberately avoided incorporating the distinctive ears present in his design, opting instead for a sleeker approach that allows for direct screwing into the top of the supporting table. Additionally, I sought to create a shorter leg that would print more efficiently, resulting in an impressive printing time of just under 5 hours per support.
