I crafted a custom cover for my Ikea sunshade stand, ensuring it remains secure even when there's no umbrella installed. This protective covering safeguards the stand from harsh rain and corrosion that could cause lasting damage. Given its intended outdoor use, I opted to print the cover using PETG, a material well-suited for withstanding direct sunlight exposure. Since PLA might warp or deform over time due to heat absorption, I chose PETG as a more reliable option for this application.
