Ikea Stolmen Ball Joint Base

Lost my original Stolman base, now discontinued, which fit perfectly at the bottom of the pole. It works seamlessly with the ball joint threaded base rod. This particular base was built to last, with an impressive 30% infill designed specifically to support three heavy shelves. It performs great and swivels effortlessly. To further enhance stability, I added a rubber base by utilizing an old mountain bike inner tube that I cut in half and glued securely to the bottom of the base. With the poles expertly adjusted, I was able to achieve a full nine half-turns to tighten down on the tension.
