IKEA SKÅDIS Pegboard to IKEA BROR Trolley Mounts
thingiverse
This was quite straightforward, really. I needed a cart to get my tools out and move them around, so I combined that with a spare IKEA pegboard. A few iterations of 3D printed mounts later, I had something akin to an IKEA Voltron if the company were just a body and one leg. There's always room for improvement, but the pegboard has slots rather than holes, giving me some flexibility to adjust its position. I used 20mm M5 screws this time around, tweaking my original design to provide more clearance for tightening the nut and adding a washer on the back. Two flat pieces and two top mounts get the job done, though you can add a couple more supports wherever your shelf is situated if you're concerned about weight distribution or if the pegboard starts bending at the top. You may need to add supports to the reworked top mount, but I ran some test simulations in Fusion360 this time around to give it an extra boost.
