I designed these small shelf supports to replace the metal rods that typically fit snugly inside IKEA shelves. Occasionally, they don't align properly. With this design, simply press it into place and position the offset block downwards so when you add weight to the shelf, it presses against the shelf frame. So far, it's been effective.
