Version 1.1.(Text only update) Version 1.0 (complete) ### [INFO-UPDATE 2020-10-12] There was a problem with the spools 1. The little roles kept turning away from the spool 2. The spool got "blocked", because it made contact with another one with slightly smaller dimensions and collided Solution for [1.] I simply removed the little roles / wheels. The prusa's extruder is strong enough to pull the filament without them Solution for [2.] I put thick paper between the spools. No problems whatsoever now. You can get these cards in every paper store (A5) ## Idea I came up with my own solution for the IKEA SAMLA box for a while (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3040109). The problem was: filament change was a pain. I did not want to use bearings. I did not want to buy new tubes but use old ones. Then I found this solution of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:859426 from https://www.thingiverse.com/ant0ni0. ### Keep it dry To keep things dry, I am using silica gel which can be regenerated in the oven at ~100°C. This now gives me the flexibility I want :-) ### PFTE Tubing I am using a 19mm tubing. But you can use a 20mm tubing of alu as well. The storage is made for 19mm and 20mm :-) The design of the bigger J-head pneumatic connectors PC4-01 1.75mm PTFE tube quick coupler makes everything much more easier to assemble and handle! Just pull the PTFE tube through and you are done. The middle bore into the plastic of the SAMLA has to be angled! Simply first bore straight through and then put the machine slowly into a 90 degree angle while keep drilling (see picture) :-) Troubleshooting: the roller wheels don't move ... hmmm.
