Ikea Samla 22L Filament Drybox

Yet another filament drybox for Ikea Samla 22l. It's primarily a compilation of other people's work. I've contributed with the PTFE tube connectors, and you can certainly use different connectors if you prefer. There are plenty of options available. I've also included a simple roller design that doesn't require 608 bearings. Instead, it uses the stands from [Minimalist Samla 22L and 65L Filament Storage](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3638817), but with plain rods held in place by small printed clamps. Parts ----- Stand ------ * 2x 8x338 mm rod/pipes, made of aluminum. * 4x stands for rods/pipes: I use the fine stands from [Minimalist Samla 22L and 65L Filament Storage](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3638817). * 8x M3x6 screws. Rollers -------- This depends on how many spools you want to store. It fits 5x 50 mm wide spools. For one spool, you need: * 4x 608 bearings (although they're not essential, bearings are recommended). * 4x [v groove for 608 bearings](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2425723). Or, if you prefer not to use metal bearings: * 4x Roller.stl (they work, but that's about it - bearings are preferred). You'll also need: * 8x Clamp.stl to hold the rollers in place. If you store 5 spools, you only need one clamp between them, so you'll need a total of 32 clamps. PTFE connectors --------------- You can use either M6 or M10 connectors, or both. For 5 spools, you'll need: ### For M6 connector * 5x PFTE M6 Bolt.stl * 5x PFTE M6 Nut.stl ### For M10 connector * 5x PFTE M10 Bolt.stl * 5x PFTE M10 Nut.stl Drill a 10 mm hole for each connector. I recommend printing them in PETG for added strength, but it's a tight fit. Lid ----- * 4x [Lid clips for the smaller IKEA SAMLA storage boxes](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:393890), with enlarged z-axis to make them 50 mm long. * Sealing strip for a snug fit. Desiccant ---------- * I use 1 kg of [silica gel](https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07H2FFKZ5/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=1FPFMUEP74ATM). That's it.
