IKEA RÅSKOG Benchtop and Tool Holder
thingiverse
Adapters for adding a benchtop to the IKEA RASKOG trolley make great additions to any workshop or mobile workspace with storage needs. They're perfect for creating a small, portable workbench that's easy to use and maneuver. I used a spare piece of kitchen bench as my top, which was about 37mm thick. Any material that can support the weight of the screws will work just fine. The optional tool holder on the edge of the bench is also a great feature - I used it to conceal the unfinished edge on mine. Most materials should be compatible with this project, but I opted for PETG in my case. The IKEA screws I used worked well, and any other sensible option will do. The tricky part lies in positioning the brackets correctly and marking their locations accurately. To ensure accurate placement, I attached the brackets to the top of my trolley using blocks to prevent them from falling. Then, I added small screws through the holes, which marked the correct hole locations when I pressed the bench down onto them. It's essential that these locations are spot-on, as the bench simply slides onto the trolley's top surface.
