Ikea rolling chair wheel support - Universal wheels

So I bought some nicer castors/wheels for my desk chair not knowing Ikea uses their own proprietary wheel stem sizes. Pretty irritating but here we are. Most other chairs in the world use an 11x22mm stem. Ikea uses 10x20mm. This piece has been molded with an 11.5x22mm hole to fit the more universal size that you'll probably encounter buying replacement wheels.On my chair the holes in the metal legs were big enough and didn't need to be modified once the printed support was in place. Supports went in snugly taking some medium tapping to get all the way in. New wheels went in, seated well, and stay in when the chair is held off the ground.Print: PLA+, .28 layer height, 8 parameters, 8 top and bottom layers, 50% gyroid infill. This feels pretty solid. Shout out to Cal95ppe, I used his design as a base.UPDATE #1 2024-06-16 - the PLA+ failed on all 5 legs. Held the wheels in but all crooked and messed up. Reprinted with PETG at 100% infill and installed them as of this update. If you don't see another update in the next year or so you can assume they held. The clear ones = PETG UPDATE #2 2024-10-21 - So the PETG feet were still holding strong to this day but they are, and have been, squeaky AF the whole time. I don't know if its because I used clear PETG or if all PETG will squeak but I probably wouldn't recommend it for your sanity. I finally had enough and reprinted them with ASA with hopes of quieter movements and installed them shortly before this update. Thankfully, they are dead silent like the PLA+ ones were so fingers crossed on the durability. Like the last update if you don't see anything here within a year you can assume they've held up. Cheers!
