We have a lot of Ikea Rajtan spice jars, that were not stored very effectively, especially in our food cabinet with high shelves. This stand allows to store them by their lid from the top of the shelve. It's not perfect, and would need some tuning as the jars doesn't fit perfectly, but it works pretty much as I expected.
