Ikea Omlopp swich mount
thingiverse
I create mounts for Ikea Omlopp switches on a RepRap Mendel Max printer using my scad file design, which is easily customizable for users' specific needs. To make this product I like to start by not having the switch dangling at the power cord, as it looked untidy in our kitchen cabinet setup. To fix this issue, I designed and created this thing, a mount, that places the switch safely below the cabinets. The print settings required are pretty standard, using a RepRap Mendel Max printer. Here is what I used to get great results: Printer: RepRap Print Setting I found it doesn't matter if you use raft or not since we are only printing on one side, with the second side having holes. Supports were not needed here because it's a small model. The layer height resolution that worked best for this product is 0.2 mm, which gives me nice crisp details for my design. I filled my switchmount with a reasonable amount of infill so that it has good mechanical strength: I went with forty percent.
