I loved all the spool holders on display but they all seemed to allow the spool to drop into the printer if I had a tangled spool issue. I already owned the Ikea MICKE Hutch, so I designed these custom holders to securely hold a 3/4 inch dowel rod as spool holders. When paired with the smooth rolling spool holder from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2844943, you get an incredibly sturdy mount that can withstand even the most vigorous printer activity, and if it does happen to get pulled off, it will still hold tight. Alternatively, you can simply use this spool holder on its own. You can easily find 3/4 round by 48 inch dowel rods at Home Depot.
