IKEA METOD Kicker Board/Plinth corner or end bracket
thingiverse
This dual-purpose bracket serves two functions: it connects IKEA's kicker-board plinth at a 90-degree angle on a corner by engaging with the extruded slots, or secures as an end fixing attached to the wall, supporting the end of the kicker. To install, mount the bracket to the wall where needed and then slide the kicker onto the tongues of the bracket using the default slot on the rear of the kicker's extrusion. The METOD range stands at 80mm over the floor, creating a significant gap under the cabinet that can trap junk and makes sweeping challenging. This dual-purpose bracket provides an anchor point for the end of the kicker wherever desired under the cabinet, while also featuring tongues that slot into the back of the kicker to form a neat 90-degree corner. One extruded kicker requires the rear slot's very end to be relieved (about 3mm) with a utility knife to ensure a seamless fit when assembling the parts together.
