I recently acquired an IKEA Malm desk, but the original height was a bit too low for my liking when paired with my new office chair. To address this issue, I opted to create a custom riser or stilt specifically designed for this particular desk model. My DIY modification added slightly higher and broader sides to prevent any potential damage from occurring. This upgrade not only resolved the height problem but also provided additional support and stability to the entire assembly.
