Ikea Malm or similar drawer reinforcement bracket
thingiverse
This attachment securely fastens the drawer to the bottom, surpassing the standard single screw corner piece. To do this effectively, you'll need three #8-1" and three #8-5/8" pan head self-tapping screws for each drawer. Interestingly, buying a box of 100 screws was more cost-effective than purchasing individual packs of 24 screws for each size. This bracket fits drawers with a 13mm thickness and a 10mm difference between the bottom edge of the back panel and the drawer bottom. To install it properly, mark the center on the outside rear panel and attach the outer half of the bracket. While holding the drawer back tightly against the bottom, use a 1/8" drill bit to make six holes in the back panel and the drawer bottom through the bracket's pre-drilled holes. Ensure the bottom is fully seated in the slot while drilling. Finally, align and install the inside bracket using 1" screws through the back panel and then 5/8" screws from within the drawer.
