IKEA Lersta Lamp wall mount with cable management

thingiverse

This is a remix or upgrade of the Lersta Wall mount I posted earlier. Available with the cable clips on the left or on the right side. For installation, follow these steps: 1) print the pieces 2) screw them to the wall so that they hold, but still leave big enough of a gap to slide the cable into the cable channels 3) remove the foot from the lamp 4) slide the tube through the pieces until the bottom of the tube stands firmly in the bottom part 5) now slide the cable into the cable channels 6) fully tighten the screws Optional method of improving this setup further: Print this switch holder and use it to mount the light switch to the wall. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3167356/files That way it will be at a fixed spot and the cables will look nicer than they would if the switch was just randomly dangling around. (See below for how I mounted the switch and routed the cables. Looks a bit awkward, but thats what happens when someone adds such features to his design after already drilling the holes for the brackets that hold the lamp.) If you modify the files, please make sure to post them as a remix so other people can find and also print them. This project was inspired by a corner mounting bracket designed by user TLW3D on cults3d. So if you need to mount your Lersta into a corner, download the bracket here: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/home/lersta-ikea-lamp-corner-mounts
