Ikea Ledberg light bar bracket and feet
thingiverse
I fabricated brackets and feet to complement my Ikea Ledberg LED strips. I needed a solution for my printer not being fully enclosed so I developed this design. I opted for an U-shaped configuration suitable for my MP select mini. First, I built upon another designer's connectors to enable me to wire the bars together. I used this reference: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:121247 Once that was functioning properly, I created feet and connectors to hold the frame upright and secure it at a right angle. Now it can freely stand upright on its own. Feet: Two versions are available - one smaller foot will stand upright but might tip over; the second version won't tip at all. Even using just one large and one small foot is sufficient to keep the assembly standing upright. Both feet have two sockets at the bottoms for a 3x6mm magnet to press into. I've tested this on walls and ceilings, and it holds the lights even with just one magnetic foot. Corner braces: One smaller, simpler design brings the lights right up near each other; the other larger one has both screw holes and 3x6mm magnet sockets for alternate mounting options. For all parts, the Ledberg bars can either slide into the channel (there's enough space for the primary electrical connector as well) or snap into the front edge of the channel (There's a channel on the LED strips it will snap into) for a firmer grip when needed, which I found works well on corners.
