IKEA Lamp Slide Mount
thingiverse
Hello everybody, Since the thread on the lamp base of my IKEA lamp was broken, causing it to always lean at an angle, I came up with a solution to secure the lamp to a table. The lamp needed to be adjustable in height and easily slidable. Therefore, I designed a few rails and a matching lamp holder that would fit perfectly together. The lamp holder is specifically designed to accept a tube or rod with a diameter of 13mm. There are two types of rails available - one with end stops and the other without, depending on how far you want to move the entire setup. To secure the rails in place, I printed out the "m3knob_V03" design twice. In each knob, I inserted an M3 nut and an M3 hexagon screw. Alternatively, you can simply turn an M3 nut all the way to the end of a cylinder screw and stick it there. This works just as well if you don't have M3 hex bolts on hand.
