My Work Light Clamp Broke, so I Designed a New Lamp Base I recently had a work light clamp that snapped and let me tell you, it caused quite an interruption to my work! But don't worry, I managed to find a simple solution online - the Thingiverse Lamp Base ( http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27253). It's an ingenious design that can be easily mounted on your desk. However, when the foot part of the clamp also broke, I had to act fast. So, I designed a quick replacement that turned out to work incredibly well! But there was one tiny problem - I accidentally included a steel insert in my original design that some people might not have access to. That's okay; we can handle it. For those who need the part without the steel insert, I created an alternative that includes just a simple hole instead. If you're feeling extra enthusiastic, you can even add a small screw hole for more permanent mounting.
