This is an adapter that fits on the existing hole of the IKEA branded desk MICKE. It allows you to install the IKEA desk lamp TERTIAL, while maintaining the opening for cable management. There was a small difference on the outside diameter  between my desk and my wife's desk, but one layer of electrical tape was enough to make a tight installation.
