IKEA Lack table filament guide

IKEA Lack table filament guide

thingiverse

This is my inaugural design with Tinkercad, crafted to accommodate the 38mm hole I drilled into my IKEA Lack table for filament passage. To allow the filament some lateral movement when the z axis ascends, I desired a slightly enlarged hole. The top and bottom edges are rounded inwardly from within. I positioned it upside down in my slicer, inserting support between the build plate and object, and utilized a raft. Without internal supports, the result was an imperfect rounding on the interior, but the effect of smoothing the edge for the filament remains intact. Hopefully, this design will prove useful to someone. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20%
