IKEA Lack Table Enclosure filament pass-thru
thingiverse
This is an alternative twist-lock porthole/filament guide for use with IKEA Lack table enclosures that can accommodate tables up to 50mm thick. The original design won't work for the thicker Lack table tops. First, drill a 38mm hole into the top of your Lack table and insert the main flange. Then, place the nozzle from the bottom and twist on the cap. The cap will securely hold the nozzle in place, with a lip in the main flange preventing it from moving upwards. The printed nozzle features a 4.3mm hole that can fit a 4mm PTFE bowden tube, but you may need to enlarge the hole depending on your specific needs. If the swivel doesn't move smoothly, use a drill with a small tip and spin it while holding onto the collar to remove any high spots. For added durability, apply some Super Lube. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: Do not print supports on the nozzle as they may interfere with its functionality. However, printing supports on the other two parts is highly recommended, even though they require minimal support material, as omitting them will lead to excessive cleanup afterwards.
