With my design, the printing area is kept isolated in a warm box (when printing with PLA at 190°C/60°C, the internal temperature remains at 37-38°C), while all electronics (ZRIB motherboard, AC/DC converters, OrangePiZero) are safely housed outside in the external environment (21°C). Compared to other Lack raisers, my design boasts several key modifications: 1. I opt for magnets instead of door hinges. This allows me to effortlessly remove the entire window and gain access to the printer from three sides - one side is permanently sealed, as you'll see below. Strong cylindrical magnets are securely glued into holes drilled in the plexiglass plates, holding them perfectly in place. 2. Each raiser has been divided into two distinct parts: a top section (5mm) and a bottom section (95mm). 3. My design is engineered to move all electronic components outside of the warm box, thereby avoiding overheating. To achieve this, one plexiglass plate is permanently fixed in place (on the right-hand side). All electronics are mounted on this plate from the external side, with holes drilled through the plate and screws used to secure them directly to the plate. For child-safety reasons, another sheet of plexiglass has been placed over the electronics, featuring large ventilation holes at both the top and bottom. The displays (printer's LCD, thermometer, current meter) and buttons are conveniently located on the external sheet. 4. I've also designed handles for glasses and connectors to securely hold the second sheet with displays.
