If you love the idea of the lackrack, but don't want to drill into the Lack's legs to mount your hardware, or just stack them on top of each other, this might be the solution.

Besides the 3D prints, you also need the following hardware:

2 x IKEA Lack tables

4 x Adam Hall 19" rack rails 18U (part number: 61535 B 18)

20 x M6x20 bolts

20 x M6 nuts (preferably nylon locking nuts)

40 x M6 washers

Optional hardware:

8 x 4mm flat head wood screws for middle parts

4 x casters, mounted on the bottom, if you want to move the rack around

Mounting instructions:

You need to print out 4 of each of the pieces (12 prints total). The TopRight piece is also used as BottomLeft, and TopLeft is also used as BottomRight. When mounting the Lack table, after inserting the screw into the leg and screwing it in as far as it goes by hand, add the printed piece on top of the leg before screwing it into the tabletop, making sure it points the right way when it is fully tightened into the tabletop. Once you have both tables finished, stack them on top of each other, with the legs facing each other, after you slide the middle pieces onto the legs.

Remarks:

If you mount all of your hardware to all 4 rails (forward rails and back rails) it should easily hold 30-40kg of weight, maybe even more. If you have a UPS, I recommend putting it in the bottom, resting it directly on the Lack tabletop, so it doesn't put any weight on the rails.

I printed my parts out of generic PLA and they're still holding strong after more than 1 year, with more than 30kg of weight.
