Ikea Lack Leg Extender (Standalone)

Ikea Lack Leg Extender (Standalone)

I could find numerous leg extenders that were designed to connect to stacked lack tables, but very few that were standalone leg extenders for a single table, and none that met my expectations. Therefore, I decided to take matters into my own hands. To create a sturdy extension, use two tapered wood screws. I used 4x3/8 screws, which proved to be more than sufficient. You will only need two screws per leg, designed this way to cleverly hide the screws on the inner sides of the table. This extension provides an extra 60mm of height, making it perfect for accommodating my Haribo 3030 printer. The socket for the leg is 40mm deep, and the hole is precisely centered within the socket. Given that the actual wood in the leg bottom is approximately 40mm, I designed the holes to place the screws directly at the center of the wood.
