Ikea Lack Enclosure Riser
thingiverse
I am constructing a custom enclosure for my 3D printer out of Ikea Lack tables. With the AM8 frame and a paving stone in place, I determined that some extra clearance on the inside height was necessary to fit my printer snugly within the enclosure. To achieve this added clearance, I designed these risers to attach securely to both the top and bottom Lack tables. The design is split into two parts, allowing me to easily remove the top section if I need unobstructed access to the printer at any point. The printed components are attached firmly to the Lack tables using high-quality wood screws. Although the Lacks lack the solid wood integrity I had hoped for, the parts still managed to fit together reasonably well.
