IKEA Lack Enclosure
thingiverse
Parts for crafting a custom printer enclosure inspired by IKEA's Lack series. Cutting slots are designed to accommodate 5mm thick sheet walls, ensuring a sturdy structure. The front panel features a resting platform for a hinged door, providing easy access to the printer interior. The total height of the printer compartment falls within the range of 465.5 mm to 600 mm. Each leg consists of four distinct components: bottom, riser, extension, and top part. To determine the correct extension length for your needs, refer to the following table: * A 4.5mm extension yields a total height of 465.5 mm. * A 10mm extension results in a height of 470 mm. * A 20mm extension produces a height of 480 mm. * A 30mm extension achieves a height of 490 mm. * A 40mm extension reaches a height of 500 mm. * A 90mm extension extends to 550 mm. * A 140mm extension maximizes the space at 600 mm. This project is a modified version of the original design found on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2776584). The creator, thebeetleuk, generously shared their work, allowing for this remix. Changes were made to shorten the extensions and exclude unnecessary parts. Additionally, the slicer software complained about non-manifold parts, prompting modifications. Gratitude is extended to the original creator, thebeetleuk.
