The problem with the stock [IKEA LACK Enclosure](https://www.prusaprinters.org/cheap-simple-3d-printer-enclosure/) is that it doesn't fit so well when you upgrade to the MMU2 or MMU2S. And if you can make it fit, you can't get to the buttons. This fixes it for us without modifying the printer or MMU2 upgrade at all. Lucky for us, the IKEA LACK table is really just two sheets of thin particle board (top/bottom) and filled with a lightweight paper honeycomb. # Materials Required * Clear Acrylic 223mm x 133mm (3mm thick) # Print * 1 x Box * 1 x Handle * 2 x Hinge # Prep the table 1. Turn your table upside down. 2. Take a dremel tool, or similar cutter, and cut a large rectangular area out of the bottom. This should be large enough to give the MMU2 and bowden tube room when the enclosure is assembled. Roughly 26cm x 31cm. 3. Cut out the paper honeycomb from the area you just cut 4. At the back of the cavity you created, cut a hole in the top of the table for the MMU2 access window. Roughly 22cm x 14cm (start small and expand as needed). 5. Clear out all sawdust, so it doesn't get all over your printer when assembled. 6. It also helps to use a dremel, or similar too, to carve a slot at the bottom of the rear plexiglass for the filament tubes. For example: https://i.imgur.com/3nFZqRQ.jpg # Assemble Window 1. Place the printed access panel window box in the hole created in step #4, above. The open areas of the box should be facing forward. 2. Attach the handle to the middle of one of the long edges of the acrylic. 3. Put a hinge on one corner of the acrylic (opposite side of the handle). 4. Now we have to connect the second hinge while getting both into the hinge holes. * Start by putting the first hinge, already attached to the acrylic, in one holde at an angle. * Hold the other hinge in the second hole. * Slide the acrylic into that hinge.
