IKEA Lack Enclosure (3 Variants, modular)
prusaprinters
<p>I like the idea to use two or three IKEA Lack tables to build an enclosure. Therefore i designed my own IKEA Lack enclosure with some improvements. That enclosure fits my needs better than some existing enclosure designs.</p><p>A lot of my design choices were made based on the existing IKEA Lack Enclosure V2: <a href="https://blog.prusaprinters.org/mmu2s-printer-enclosure_30215/">https://blog.prusaprinters.org/mmu2s-printer-enclosure_30215/</a></p><h3>Overview:</h3><p>The files contain 3 different variants of the enclosure:</p><p>All of these versions have got a removable top cover.</p><h4>Features:</h4><ul><li><strong>lighting</strong></li><li><strong>magnetic door closer</strong></li><li><strong>removable top cover</strong></li><li><strong>removable side panel (only pro version)</strong></li></ul><h3>Different variants:</h3><figure class="image image-style-align-right image_resized" style="width:35.05%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/76318/rich_content/62560d82-a2d2-4641-b52e-7bc678a8f4f6/01_overview.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22f1b56941-4896-479f-834b-8a3483837c84%22%2C%22w%22%3A536%2C%22h%22%3A639%7D"></figure><ul><li><strong>IKEA Lack 2 Tables</strong></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><figure class="image image-style-align-right image_resized" style="width:35.05%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/76318/rich_content/dad22a58-1431-46d5-a9e4-b689ab59bd3d/01_overview.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2265a3776a-2752-4e78-8b32-31a3d55ddbba%22%2C%22w%22%3A410%2C%22h%22%3A647%7D"></figure><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li><strong>IKEA Lack 3 Tables</strong><ul><li>more storage area</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><figure class="image image-style-align-right image_resized" style="width:35.06%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/76318/rich_content/806acdf4-019e-4ba8-8a00-f9608a82f59a/01_overview.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%227729fc15-97a7-40a2-9aa5-0b1327ec8748%22%2C%22w%22%3A294%2C%22h%22%3A481%7D"></figure><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li><strong>IKEA Lack 3 Tables (pro Version)</strong><ul><li>the middle table is designed to store spools or another smaller 3D printer</li><li>removable side panel (orange left)</li><li>middle part with doors</li></ul></li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><h3>Different top covers:</h3><ul><li><strong>Version 1</strong></li></ul><figure class="image image-style-align-right image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/76318/rich_content/279e083c-d5dd-4220-b839-7313c4bfcee2/topcover_version1_r.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22899d9d04-735d-4ef3-94d2-3d27cc4419bd%22%2C%22w%22%3A899%2C%22h%22%3A332%7D"></figure><p> </p><p>This is using the IKEA Lack tabletop.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Version 2</strong></li></ul><figure class="image image-style-align-right image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/76318/rich_content/e8fd769d-3a95-4854-8059-999fe7200664/topcover_version2_r.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22ed5590e3-10b3-4b6e-8b45-1a95d35259d4%22%2C%22w%22%3A1020%2C%22h%22%3A336%7D"></figure><p> </p><p>This top cover supports the MMU2S.
