Ikea Lack 3D printer Cabinet - Hardware
thingiverse
Just a very simple setup for adapting two Ikea Lack side tables to make a 3D print cabinet. Most other designs were too complicated and required many different parts. I set this up to use just two part files that can be arranged carefully to print in just a single print or two, depending on your machine. Prints: 8 x Foot Locators 4 x Door Tabs Hardware: qty.12 M4x0.7 x 10mm (sides to brackets) qty.32 1/8 x 3/8" wood screws (brackets to tables) qty.4 1/8" x 3/8" Wood Screws (door tabs) Sides and Door: qty.3 17-1/2 x 15-3/4 for sides and back qty.1 20x17 board for lift-off door (clearanced in 4 spots for the tabs) I used 1/8" tempered hardboard for the sides and door, and added a window made from glass, but you can also use a 1/8" thick sheet of plexiglass or similar material. Enjoy! *** Sorry some of my pictures are sideways, I took them on the phone and had no way to rotate them.
