Ikea KUNGSFORS Recipe Holder
prusaprinters

This is one of my first designs I ever made and does its job very well for already 1 ½ years.

My main intention was to find a place to put my recipes while cooking. It needs to be easily readable and out of the way. You can actually put any kind of paper or carton sheet in there.

The best thing is, you just need the print, since it uses a metal piece which Ikea supplies as a tool to safely attach the magnetic cover to the wall. It usually is thrown away afterwards but it is being used for this print.

The slit were you put the recipe is tapered, angled and has a small curve which allows it to read the recipe easier and also stabilizes the sheet. This way you can attach the recipe of center. (See pictures)

Build

Print

I used PLA and no supports. You might want to use a brim, but it is not necessary in my opinion. See print orientation in the picture.

Assemble

Push the metal piece into the print and put it on the knife holder.
