One of my parents' Ikea Kroby lampshades snapped, so I designed a brand new one and printed two sleek copies. The result has a charming Mediterranean flair that adds a touch of sophistication to any room. Print Settings: Printer: I chose the Da Vinci 1.0a with E3D V6 hotend for its exceptional performance. Rafts: No raft was needed to achieve perfect results. Supports: The design's symmetry eliminated the need for supports, saving time and effort. Resolution: A precise resolution of 0.2 mm ensured crisp details and a smooth finish. Infill: 100% infill provided the necessary strength and stability while maintaining a stylish appearance. Notes: I employed a clever technique by printing with two shells and 50% infill-overlapping to create three intricate circles, adding depth and visual interest to the design.
