Ikea Karlstad Metal Foot/Leg Pad

Ikea Karlstad Metal Foot/Leg Pad

If you own an Ikea Karlstad chair or couch that's no longer in production, and splurged on the stylish metal feet that were discontinued mid-2015, then you'll need this specific part. It's the plastic foot that attaches to the bottom of each metal leg, and they tend to break if you drag them across a rough floor. The result is a nasty scratch on your floor so I decided to create a simple but functional model using Tinkercad. I printed mine in matching silver, but feel free to get creative and print it in any color you have! Print it solid with no raft or supports. I used a Printrbot Simple Metal with PLA filament (the gcode is below). Printer Settings: - Printer Brand: Printrbot - Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal - Rafts: No - Supports: No - Resolution: 1mm - Notes: Print it solid, fill density 100%.
