IKEA JANSJÖ Lamp Magnet Base Adapter

This is an attachment that lets you swap out the original foundation of a budget-friendly IKEA JANSJÖ lamp ($10) with a magnet so you can attach the lamp to magnetic surfaces. This is particularly useful for using the lamp as a work light on power tools. You will also need a "round base pull magnet" (25lb rating is fine) and a 12mm M4 hex bolt and M4 nut. I bought all of these at my local Home Depot for just a few dollars. I made a video showing how I designed the attachment in Fusion 360 and how to swap out the old base with a magnet.
