Prized for its generously long gooseneck, this lamp has a dual-screw mount at its base that prevents unscrewing but may pose challenges in mounting on random surfaces unless you opt for the clamp version. For users with limited wall space in old brick buildings, the Jansjö lamp can be mounted to SteelWorks desktop shelving units made from perforated square tubing and angle iron from Lowe's or Amazon. In a project shared on Tinkercad, the Jansjö lamp is adapted to SteelWorks with a Thing that mates the two using 1-inch center holes.
