IKEA IVAR Soldering Wire holder
thingiverse
I'm working on a project and I need some wire to solder in one of my projects, so I thought it would be convenient if it was provided from a holder hanging from an IVAR Rack. You see from my projects that my "office" is filled with IVAR Shelves, so I powered up my newly installed 123D Design Studio and built one. It has a hole to pull the cable out as well as a small window to see what color is filled and how much is left. You can print as many as you want, well, and as you can fit in the Shelf. The right one can be pushed against the Stand so the spool doesn't fall off on the side. I'm not sure if whole Spools with wire will Fit because I only have loose wire, but I hope so. In case it doesn't, I've attached the original 123D studio file for you to change it. Feel free to do so, but please show the results to the community. Printer settings: XYZPrinting DaVinci Pro 3in1, no rafts, no supports, resolution 0.2mm, infill 5% linear. I printed this with Hatchbox ABS at 220°C/90°C, 0.2mm, 5% infill linear, 45mm/s. It took about five hours thirty minutes for two pieces printed parallel.
