Build your IKEA IVAR shelf and integrate Duplo into its design. Build vertically or attempt a bridge from front to back. When building upwards, three IVAR hole distances match the height of five Duplo blocks perfectly. Alternatively, build with 90° rotated Duplos. In this case, one IVAR hole distance is equivalent to two nub distances exactly. The design was created for the 50 cm IVAR version but can also be adapted for use with the 30 cm depth shelf. To ensure a proper fit when bridging, consider adding one Lego stud of distance using Lego blocks. This modification should allow it to function as well as the 50 cm version.
