The rear will snap into the IVAR system holes, and join them together with a single M4 bolt. This was a tight fit on my IVAR's painted wooden post. For the setup in my camera I used this base and parts from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2551266 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3013301 STEP file included.
