Lock for the IKEA Hållbar lids.Can be used to keep the lid shut if you don't want anything entering the container or if you are planning to place items into the container in another way.My own usecase was for soft plastics where I added a hole in the lid to be able to push plastic inside and keep it compressed. Otherwise the lid would stay open.
